Following the arrival of the cruise ship “Crystal Symphony”, it has become the first to dock at Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal in Zayed Port, marking the official start of the 2023-2024 cruise season. Crystal Symphony has twelve decks and can accommodate up to 606 guests.
With Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal scheduled for 126 calls beginning on 1st November 2023, this upcoming cruise season promises significant growth. Furthermore, after receiving its first call on 31st October, Sir Bani Yas Cruise Beach is scheduled to receive 63 calls.

He added that AD Ports Group is dedicated to partnering with cruise lines to elevate Abu Dhabi’s global cruise destination status.

With the successful opening of the Aqaba Cruise Terminal in January 2023, Abu Dhabi Cruise Business, a division of the Ports Cluster, has extended its activities to the Red Sea.
Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal recorded over 600,000 visitors arriving in Abu Dhabi during the 2022–2023 season, with over 82,000 passengers departing from Abu Dhabi.
During the Q1 of 2023, 363,494 visitors and 120 calls were recorded, compared to 89,953 visitors and 60 calls during the Q1 of 2022. Passenger volumes for Q1 2023 surpassed the visitors numbers accommodated for the entire year of 2022 by more than 37%.
Since its launch in December 2015, Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal provided cruise ship passengers with a convenient place to stay, facilitating them to explore and experience the UAE capital.
Etihad Airline check-in, restaurants, retail outlets, duty-free stores, and baggage storage are all available at the Cruise Terminal.
